There’s good cop and there’s bad cop, but how about “dumb” cop? Poor guy can’t even figure out that one of his detectives is the very guy he’s looking for. Kevin Durant stars in this latest Foot Locker commercial playing two roles, the detective, and also the fugitive KD who is wanted for being “not nice” and viciously dunking on helpless opponents. The chief does have a lead with a piece of key evidence – one shoe from the Nike KD V ‘Ice Blue’ aka ‘Gullwing’ (the same shoe Detective Durant happens to be missing). Check out the full video and be sure to check out Foot Locker for all your Nike KD V gear, and whenever you spot KD doing his damage on the court, let your Twitter community know by tweeting @FootLocker and using the hashtag #KDISNOTNICE.
Believe it or not – roller skating is actually a big part of Black-American history. As America was getting closer Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 to the end of segregation, the Chicago Roller Skating Rink, which was around since the late 1800′s, was the first to open its doors to Blacks. Since then, the fun indoor activity became a major part of American culture as a whole (and it still goes strong today!). We stumbled on this rare piece of vintage sports memorabilia – an original pair of Air Jordan 1 roller-skates; these, however, were not the first Nike roller skates, as we saw a pair of Nike Killshot skates that date back to the late 70′s/early 80′s, and certainly not the last (remember when Russell Westbrook flossed his True Blue skates?). So just how much does a collectible like this go for? Check for yourself by hitting up the listing from smokeysstash on us store.
The Nike WMNS Air Max 1 Nike Air Max 90 Mens continues as arguably the single strongest and most prolific ladies sneaker on the market, following up on the dope white/silver edition we just showed you with a new style that makes a pack out of a design we’d seen in November as a February preview. So that means this new Air Max 1 for women with the eyecatching textured mudguard are going to be released around the same time as part of Nike Sportswear’s spring 2013 catalog. Sneaker News will keep you posted should any more makeups in this style come forth, so enjoy some more photos in the meantime and be sure to check back with us for updates.
The most recent Lunar Hyperdunk preview we showed you here on Sneaker News had a bit of Oregon Ducks vibe about it thanks to the Gorge Green accents on its eye-catching Volt base. This new Nike Lunar Hyperdunk+ might stretch toward Oregon’s Pac-12 rival USC, but it’s Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 more likely that this University Gold and University Red combo was crafted with the host of the OG Hyperdunk debut’s flag in mind. This yellow and red combo would be perfect as a China PE, or even Spain might see some use in this pair for a sort of ‘alternate’ look. Check them out up close below, let us know how you think the colorway translates to the Lunar Hyperdunk’s exposed Flywire design and stick with Sneaker News for more previews and updates as we approach the June 29th launch date.
