We’ve already seen four Air Free Run Retro Premios hit retail, and although opinions have varied on the designs, the Bin 23 collection has had no trouble clearing out nearly instantaneously each time around. A few months back, we got our first look at the Air Free Run V installment, by far the closest of all the Premios to replicating an original colorway. Inspired by a 48-point MJ performance in which Michael wore a pair of black Air Free Run V’s with white laces, the Premio V seems to have taken a slightly different Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 design approach than its predecessors. Some may have wanted something a little crazier, while others are drooling at the thought of getting their hands on a super-lux leather version of the classic Black/Metallic Silver color scheme. If you’re among the latter, get ready to pounce, because JB has just confirmed that the Bin 23 AJV will be hitting shelves next Friday, February 18th at select retailers. Hot on the heels of an Air Max 1 from this same pack is the Nike Air Max 90 ‘ACG Pack’.  Just like those ’87s, these AM90s go with a slightly more rugged construction and a wild colorway inspired by All Conditions Gear‘s ealy days.  This pair m6.0es Varsity Purple and Alarming Red accents atop a Medium Grey base, and while this ‘Raptors’ palette is undeniably ’90s, the blue/yellow mismatched laces might be the feature that draws more attention.  Or maybe that goes to the super bright reflect5e 3M heel shield.  In any case, this is a sneaker that deserves a second look and you can grab a pair to earn your fair share, courtesy of Corporate.

During last night’s post-game interview, LeBron James, for the first time in public, openly apologized for the aftermath of ‘The Decision’, Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 expressing sorrow at the heartbreak while standing firm in his decision to leave Cleveland for Miami. Free Run Brand can get rather out-of-the-box and creat5e with their colorways, but anything that can be compared to a classic Chicago Bulls uniform will always get our attention. It’s a colorway that never gets old, and in this case, it’s on a shoe that never gets old, because while we’ve seen the Air Free Run 1 in countless forms, it never ceases to amaze. This upcoming June 2012 takes the Phat mold and uses a black tumbled leather upper with a white canvas material at the center panel, with a nice contrast provided by the red/black elephant swoosh print (all the rage on the Nike Air Force 1 iD). During the Nike 2011 All-Star Showcase that was held just two weekends ago, select members of the media rece5ed a one-of-a-kind press kit in a cleverly packaged arrangement. This was no run-of-the-mill, everyday press kit; this mini Kobe VI snake-tank, like the ones seen at the Nike Vault or on display at Nike Basketball, South Korea, features a seemingly dormant mini-Mamba snake resting patiently for someone to make the grave mistake of sticking their vulnerable appendages into the glass casing. It’s that time of the year again! October is considered to be one of the best months of the year for spectators of all sports, because the NFL Season is in full effect, the MLB Playoffs are under way, and the NBA Season is about to begin. South Beach was the first area of Miami Beach to be developed back in the Nineteen-Teens, but it was nearly a century later that this Biscayne Bay hot spot became a sneaker colorway.  People will be talking about that ‘South Beach’ LeBron 8 for another hundred years or more, a sneaker so popular it rivals the most elite Air Jordans in terms of copycat colorways (and, one day, retro potential?).  The LeBron 9 already had a variety of MIA-themed colorups, but none carries the same pedigree nor pricetag as the ‘South Beach’ Nike LeBron 9 P.S. Elite.  These official images depict the Wolf Grey-based, Mint Candy New Green and Pink Flash-accented LeBron 9 Elite in all its glory; do you have its June 2nd US release date circled on your calendar?

The Nike Air Foamposite One has steered pretty clear of too many NBA team tie-in colorways, Nike Free Run + 3 aside from the initial ‘Royal’ colorway to go with Penny’s Magic uniform and that rare ‘Knicks’ version that Spike Lee was blessed with earlier in the year. Pushing the envelope a bit is the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Phoenix Suns’ shown here, which takes cues from the aforementioned ‘Royal’ with its blue base and then injects in some orange beyond the Foamposite sections. One thing we can’t overlook about these European sneaker events is the variety in brand representation. In the States, it’s mostly about Air ordans, Foamposites, and Nike Basketball with other brands like New Balance and Asics growing fervently into the scene, but across the Atlantic, it’s almost an even distribution among all the labels. Back on Valentine’s Day, Sneaker News showed you the first of two tonal, canvas-covered Nike Air Max 90s that’d arrived at European retailers. Those have yet to arrive here in the States, but young sneakerheads will soon have their chance at something similar in the pair Nike Free Run 3 0 V2 pictured above. This Air Max 90 for kids stops short of the all-over canvas look, instead applying it to the toe and ankle of a design that mixes in equal amounts of grainy leather and suede. On the daily, the internet is chock full of folks lamenting the days gone by, claiming that the sneaker game has gone downhill since x-era or y-release. Erasing some of that doom and gloom is the latest Complex list, this one coming up with ten reasons that the sneaker game in its current state is better than ever. Earlier this week we hit you with a release date for this original Air Jordan from 1985, but it’s time to take a closer look at each individual pair. The 2010 releases of the AJKO were the surprise hits of that year, but we imagine these won’t exactly sneak up on people because the AJKO and the Air Jordan 1 in general has been an intensely popular pick – and what better than this original ‘Banned’ colorway? Joining the shoe that could potentially be Derrick Rose’s playoff selection in a flattering Year of the Snake-inspired colorway is the most popular adidas Basketball silhouette of the moment.  The adidas adiZero Crazy Light 2 YOTS rocks the same Collegiate Navy, blue and gold combo as the D-Rose 3.5s, but a greater emphasis on blue tonality, less texture and a more subdued metallic gold presence put these in the unfamiliar position of being the less intricate of the two.  Let us know which you like best after scanning more photos below, then grab the Crazy Light 2 Year of the Snake straight from adidas.

Is the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Championship/MVP’ Pack’ the most coveted LeBron release (note: this doesn’t include PEs and samples) of all-time? The first ever two-pair Pack release bearing LeBron’s name dropped last Summer after LeBron cemented his name among the all-time greats by winning his first ‘chip and third overall League MVP, and the value of these bad boys has steadily risen over the last few months. DJ Clark Kent’s “112″ theme looks to be hitting on the it trainer of the moment, the Nike Zoom Revis. Darrell Revis’ first signature shoe has been incredibly busy as of late, getting outfitted with all sorts of collabs and special make ups. We’ve got a feeling that this upcoming pair will be a cut above the rest though, as there’s nary a model out there that Clark’s blend of elephant print and volt doesn’t look good on. Design language from Air Jordans III and IV have once again come together on a new Jordan Brand release. Unlike something like the Son of Mars Low where these are combined with other influences from the Air Jordan Legacy, the Jordan Flight Origin focuses squarely on the end of the 1980s for its inspiration. This pair is like a cross between the ‘True Blue’ IIIs and ‘White Cement’ IVs, and features a bit less splatter detailing than the more fitting ‘Black Cement’ edition also releasing around this time.
